Multiple articles from The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition have scientifically proven that breakfast might not be the most important meal of the day.

Are we overrating our Breakfast?

1) Does breakfast play a role in weight loss?

Researchers at the University of Alabama, Birmingham and other institution done a 16 weeks research with nearly 300 volunteers, have proven that skipping breakfast does not really help an individual to achieve weight loss.

2) Will skipping breakfast affect your body weights, resting metabolism rates, cholesterol, and blood sugar pressure?

Through a 6-weeks research on 33 participants, researchers at the University of Bath have determined that their (those that skipped breakfast) body weights, resting metabolic rates, cholesterol and most measures of blood sugar were about the same as those that ate breakfast.

However, those that ate breakfast seemed to move around more during the morning.

3) Is breakfast just "another meal"?

A new study by Dr. Dhurandhar, assistant professor at the University of Alabama, Birmingham discovered that people's bodies have different kind of liking towards having breakfast.

In conclusion...

1) Skipping breakfast wouldn't help you to loss weight;

2) Skipping breakfast will only make you less active in the morning;

3) The importance of having breakfast does vary, this is because everyone has a different need towards filling their tummy in the morning.
