LG has developed an 18 inch flexible Organic LED display (TV); as well as another one that is flat and transparent.

1) LG Display has developed an 18 inch flexible Organic LED display; as well as another one that is flat but transparent.

2) The flexible display has 1,200x810 resolution and can be rolled around into a 60mm cylinder while working.

3) LG announced that its possible to bring roll-able TVs of >50 inch to the market in the future.

#1 LG's transparent 18 inch OLED has 30% transmittance and has its haze panel lowered to a level of 2%.


#2 By 2017, LG believes that they will have an Ultra HD flexible and transparent Organic LED panel of over 60 inch with more than 40% transmittance and a minimum curve diameter of 200mm.
